Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Document Ocean 360 website and platform, operated by MAOcean 360. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent. Enterprise customers may have a separate master agreement that takes precedence over these terms.

2. The service

Document Ocean 360 provides cloud-based document management and document control, including document registers, revision and version control, review and approval workflows, transmittals, and audit trails. Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page.

3. Accounts and subscriptions

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding access credentials.
  • Paid plans are billed annually or monthly in USD as displayed at purchase. Annual billing is paid up front; onboarding fees are one-time.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • The free version is provided as-is for evaluation, with the limits published on the pricing page.

4. Customer content

Your organization retains all rights to the documents and data it uploads. You grant us only the rights needed to host, process, back up, and display that content to authorized users in order to provide the service. We do not use your customer content to train machine-learning models or sell it to third parties.

5. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, infringing, or malicious content or activity.
  • No attempts to probe, disrupt, or bypass security or access controls, or to access another organization's data.
  • No reselling or providing the service to third parties except as agreed in writing.

6. Availability and support

We target high availability and operate redundant infrastructure, but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation except where a service-level agreement is in place for Enterprise customers. Support response targets vary by plan.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time; paid periods already invoiced are non-refundable except where required by law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms. Following termination, your organization may export its data within the export window described in your agreement.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the service is limited to the fees paid by your organization in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the service or email and apply from the next billing period unless required sooner by law.

10. Contact
