Reports

Generate organization and project reports in Document Ocean 360 — document registers with a custom column picker, review cycle analytics, team activity, and transmittal annexes.

Document Ocean 360 generates formal reports from one unified report generator, available at both the organization and project level. Whichever report you pick, the flow is the same: choose the type, configure its options, and download the generated file.

Report Types

  • Organization Overview — a cross-project summary of document and workflow activity for the organization.
  • Document Register — the register as a formal export, with a fully customizable column layout.
  • Review Cycle — analytics on review and approval performance: cycle durations, outcomes, and bottlenecks.
  • Team Activity — who did what across documents, workflows, and transmittals in the selected scope.

Generating a Report

1

Open Reports

From the organization or project reports area, choose the report type you need. Options reset when you switch type, so each report starts from a clean, valid configuration.

2

Configure Options

Apply filters for scope (project, date range, status) and — for register reports — pick and order your columns.

3

Generate & Download

The report is generated server-side and made available as a download. Download links expire after a period for security, so save the file when you generate it.

The Column Picker (Document Register)

Register reports include an interactive column picker so the export contains exactly the columns your organization’s register standard requires:

  • Columns are grouped into Core, Tags, and Revision History, each with a select-all toggle.
  • Drag to reorder — the export follows your column order.
  • The document number column is locked — every register row keeps its identifying number.

Transmittal Sheet Annex

Document Register reports can optionally append a transmittal sheet annex, packaging the transmittal record together with the register in one deliverable — useful for formal issue packages and project close-out documentation.

Comment sheets are generated separately

Per-document comment sheets are produced from the document detail page with their own editor and template. See the Comment Sheets guide under Documents.
