Profile Settings
Manage your personal information, password, active sessions, and display preferences in Document Ocean 360.
Your profile settings control your personal information, authentication method, and display preferences across Document Ocean 360. Keep your profile up to date so teammates can identify you and the system can route notifications correctly.
/settings/profile Personal Information
Update your profile details from the Profile tab in Settings. These fields appear across the platform — in comments, workflow assignments, transmittal receipts, and team directories.
Profile Fields
Your first and last name as displayed across the platform. This is the name colleagues see on comments and assignments.
Your primary email used for login and notifications. Changing this requires verification of the new address.
Your role or position within the organization, displayed on your profile card and in team views.
An optional contact number. Visible only to organization admins unless you mark it as public.
Upload a square image (JPG or PNG, max 2 MB). Your photo appears on comments, mentions, and the team directory.
Password & Authentication
If your organization uses email/password authentication, you can change your password at any time from the Security section of your profile.
Navigate to Security settings
Go to Settings → Profile → Security tab to access password and session options.
Enter your current password
For security, you must verify your identity by entering your existing password before making changes.
Set a new password
Enter a new password that meets the minimum requirements: at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.
Confirm and save
Re-enter the new password and click Update Password. You'll remain logged in, but other sessions may be invalidated.
SSO-managed accounts
If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML or OAuth, your password is managed by your identity provider (e.g., Google Workspace, Azure AD, Okta). The password change option will not appear in your settings — contact your IT administrator for credential changes.
Active Sessions
The Active Sessions panel shows all devices and browsers where your account is currently signed in. Each entry displays the device type, browser, IP address, and last activity timestamp.
You can revoke any session by clicking the End Session button next to it. This is useful if you’ve forgotten to log out on a shared device or suspect unauthorized access.
Security best practice
Review your active sessions periodically. If you see a session you don’t recognize, revoke it immediately and change your password.
Theme & Display
Choose between Light, Dark, and System (auto-detect) themes from the Appearance section. Your preference is saved per-device and syncs across browser tabs instantly.
